Janice Claire Scrutton

Scrutton, Janice Claire Peacefully at her home in London on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 in her 80th year, Janice Claire Scrutton (nee Richards). Beloved wife for 58 years of the Reverend Paul Scrutton. Loving mother of Nigel (Phyllis) Scrutton, Reverend Hilary(Reverend Robert) Merritt, Stephen (Nora) Scrutton and Jill (Neil) Scrutton-Fulford. Fondly missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and dog Heidi. Predeceased by her brother Barry Richards. Janice taught elementary school and at Mohawk College. Visitation will be at McCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME, 495 Park Road North, Brantford on Sunday, January 29 from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. officiated by the Reverend Dr. Barry Pridham of Sydenham United Church. If wished, memorial donations to the S.P.C.A., the Canadian Bible Society, the Lung Association or your favourite charity would be gratefully appreciated.
